Well Giuliani has a lot of money backers from the neocon elite…he’s a hedge bet. He’s also got mob money behind him.
I agree with you jeremiasx. Hillary does appear more anointed to me too, thus far, than Giuliani. As divisive as she has often been said to be, she still is the current “media darling” with a “solid 40%” in most of the polls I’ve seen among the Democratic candidates compared to Giuliani’s fairly consistent “major media polls” stating and reiterating 29%, give or take a few points from time to time. And yet does anyone really like the allegedly popular, wannabe next US president of 9/11? Of course the 2008 election is still over a year away and a lot can happen between now and then. Besides, does any really believe that the current administration will retire quietly into the night when dusk falls upon their time in office? Back to my main point though; I have yet to meet anyone opening supporting Giuliani and yet he seems to receive millions of dollars every quarter, and I’m quite bewildered, left wondering from whom and why?
I think this was fairly accurate other than the branding of Giuliani as the “anointed successor” I think that would be Hillary actually…
