On Nov. 7, 2007, author Naomi Wolf was in Baltimore, Maryland, to discuss her latest, and very timely, book, “The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot.” One of the topics that came up during her lively talk, and Q&A with the audience, was Ron Paul (R-TX). She praised his leadership for introducing a bill in the Congress called the “American Freedom Agenda of 2007.” See, http://www.americanfreedomcampaign.org/ for details. Ms. Wolf said: “I have a lot of respect for Ron Paul…He says we don’t need an Empire. Let’s just have a Republic.” The author underscored: “We need a Democracy Movement in America, like the Democracy Movement that brought down the ‘Berlin Wall’” to take back our country from the forces that threaten our liberties.
