With all due respect to pepe escobar ,, he seems to really buy what the regime is putting out he is totally offline not even mentioning the support of terrorists
the issue is not energy it is terrorism and interference with the development of democracy in IRAQ

it is clear that the Iranian people want regime change but the regime is killing and supressing people the only viable alternative like yougoslavia would be airial bombing of IRAN to reduce regime power to inable people to rise against this regime
PERSIANS have shown time and again that they will not support a rootless regime even against a foriegn invasion , case and point Alexander ,, Arabs ,, Mongols and most recently Reza Shah in WW2
PERSIANS respect all religions and cultures
