Remind Congress to uphold it’s Constitutional obligation to open an investigation against anyone who has committed crimes against it’s country.

For more specific information on the Articles of Impeachment of President George W. Bush, Vice President Richard B. Cheney, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales – please visit:

The voice speaking in this message is Seymour Hersh (Pulitzer Prize winning journalist for the New Yorker) – taken from one of his lectures at the ACLU.

Criminals stand trial for their crimes. Period.

Richard Nixon was impeached 2 years after a landslide election victory—for crimes far less incriminating than the Bush Administration. In 1973, 50,000 telegrams to Congress forced them to begin impeachment hearings.

Please visit these sites to learn more specifically about the cases against them and how you can help make sure they don’t dodge Justice. This is our country, and we can force the House to Impeach them with your help. It’s time to relearn what this country’s ideals are based upon.

  4. Done. If, to save time, anyone would like to cannibalize the fax I sent, here it is:

What could possibly be more crucial to any legitimate American political party’s agenda than upholding our nation’s Constitution?

The Republicans have shown themselves to be an illegitimate party, endorsing in Congress and the courts virtually every illegal and immoral impulse of the present administration since its original usurpation of power.

Sadly, many Democrats in Congress voted with them, but you didn’t own the problem until after the 2006 election. Now you do.

That the criminals who have undermined our nation’s reputation, security, economy, infrastructure, laws and ethical principles — all for the prodigious enrichment of a few – are still being indulged has an overwhelming majority of the American people in a state of furious despair.

Will nobody listen to us? How many polls of and pleadings by the citizens whom you’re supposed to represent will you ignore? We want peace NOW, restoration of our Constitutional liberties and protections NOW and policies to reverse the economic destruction of our nation NOW.

That George Bush and Dick Cheney have committed impeachable offenses is not reasonably deniable, and further delay in holding these murderous, lying, plundering sociopaths accountable for their manifold crimes will not be excused by history — or by the electorate, assuming that we ever have real elections again.

Perhaps you’re afraid that striking against them will lead to their mounting an open coup, but please consider how much more likely that horror becomes if they’re given additional money — and time during which to feel their power ebbing away, all for want of some convenient “emergency” to rationalize criminalization of their foes?

They must be stopped and this could be our very last chance, before we lose everything.

Please support impeachment proceedings against Cheney, for starters, and make sure that the full evil of this increasingly fascistic administration is exposed.

P.S. – How any American could in good conscience support a NAFTA extension that places the Peruvian people in thrall to CitiGroup and others profiting from a widely reviled private social security program is beyond me.
