  1. Well WordsSeldomSaid, I asked PTTvoices if he was American because he doesn’t seem to like it very much…

I wholeheartedly disagree with the “leveling of the playing field” that is socialism… you can quote whatever definitions you choose,,, its is one pixel away from communism…

based on your analysis I would have to say I am a neo-fascist nationalist…. ?

  2. why does the truth equate to hate in your opinion trm?…

    and…to answer you …

communism: the Marxist-Leninist version of a classless society in which capitalism is overthrown by a working-class revolution that gives ownership and control of wealth and property to the state. any system of government in which a single, usually totalitarian, party holds power, and the state controls the economy

socialism: a political theory or system in which the means of production and distribution are controlled by the people and operated according to equity and fairness rather than market principles. a political movement based on principles of socialism, typically advocating an end to private property and to the exploitation of workers.

according to the marxist theory socialism is a stage between capitalism and communism, so the communist know their is a difference in the two systems…socialism is the true in between that we all need…

    also…

centrist positions are generally the most worthless, for without the other two sides demanding their way, the centrist postiion would accomplish NOTHING at all…and more often than not hurts more then it helps… also as pointed out, the majority are centrist, demonstrating that it is nothing more then a position for sheep who are unable to make a conclusion or offer a solution to a problem on their own… trying to blindly and without any helpful ideas, walk a thin line between the views of an issue, showing they lack the ability to create a solution, and are nothing more than the herd, waiting to be lead about by others….and allowing their position to only be formed on pieces of what both sides have to say, back and forth like a ping pong ball, showing how easily influenced the centrists are and that they are without any real answers themselves….imo…

  3. I appreciate the centrist view PTTVoices, in a perfect world, but for now its not. If those “allies” view us as a threat then we should cut off the funding, I’m so sick of the U.S. giving handouts to everyone only to be bad mouthed at every turn…

Are you an American PTTvoices? If so, why do you hate your country?
My country, be she right or wrong, but always, my country…

  4. “Saladland”? LOL! (complete with broccoli forests, I hope…)
I’m liking that place already, ready to flee the unmitigated moral amerigoon mess of some of these above comments, and work for ‘beans’ on Lo’s side of the border~

(Do they really have supporters for Fred Thompson? Yikes!)

There is an alternative to all the ‘isms’, folks, and it definitely is not ‘extremism’ of either the socialist nor capitalist kind. Overemphasis on any of the above ‘ists’ is a dogmatic trap.

Didn’t we ‘smack down’ islam enough for the foreseeable millenia? Seems the rest of the world is wondering who the ‘scumbag radicals’ really are… Speaking of public polls, it seems our closest allies view the USA as the biggest threat to peace on earth.

  5. Hi Word Seldom,
If I may answer the question with a question, what is the difference between socialism/communism?

Who can be elected to curb islamic radicalism,? Fred Thompson. Why? Because I think he understands that it will take extreme, uber-violence to smack these assholes down.. Be it in the form of a draft, nuke… whatever…

Radical islam the most important issue of the day?,,,Sure,,it’s a good start////

  6. socialism is not communism….and there are plenty of cute phrases to pass around about any political viewpoint…..and i am sure some of them even rhyme as well…

may i ask….who do you think can be elected to make islamic radicals will go away and why do you think they will be able to do so?…

and if i can push your patience for one more question..

is radical islam the most important issue for you?…

  7. Sorry for my lack of clarity the other night, it happens from time to time,,, I remember not having been to salad land in quite some time and wanted to pay a visit and share my brand of nonsense…
When I said, “your backing the lib Ron Paul”, I was refering to the fact that they are both considered the “loony guys” of the dem and rep party’s. Make sense?

The definition of socialist in my warped little right wing mind can be summed up in my favorite quote refering actually to communist..

“What is a communist? One who hath yearnings for equal divisions of unequal earnings.”
    Ebenezer Elliott; 1846

  8. These national polls are ran by the same group that EXCLUDE candidates from the private debates.

The national polls are very unreliable because they DO NOT take into account the minority vote or the black vote. The minority and black vote could decide the election!

Do you really trust a poll ran by a group that is using proproganda through the media to elect the candidates they want us to elect?

The black vote is solidly behind Dennis Kucinich.

The media has chosen their candidate as requested by papi bush. Obama, Edwards and Clinton are papi bush puppets! If either are elected you can no doubt expect a DRAFT and a continuation of the Iraqi occupation, further wasted billions to sastify israel and more economic destablization.

If you are 14, 15, 16, or 18 years old be prepared to go to war if Dennis Kucinich is not elected!!! THE CHOICE IS YOURS PARENTS!

Also, bush, chaney and no one else will be prosecuted for their crimes if Dennis Kucinich is not elected.

THE DEMOCRATICS FOOLED AMERICA IN 2006 IF DENNIS KUCINICH IS NOT ELECTED THEY WILL DO IT AGAIN!!!

  9. DK a centrist??? The New Republic magazine is centrist. Sen. Chuck Hagel is centrist. DK is a leftist. Not a Bolshevik, mind you but a solid lefty.
And when is the DK campaign gonna recognize that “77% of progressives support Dennis, ” is a crock. He just polled 1% in the Des <oines Register poll. You know a poll that actually asks those likely to vote or caucus, not a self-selected, unrepresentative sample. Would be like going to a KKK meeting and asking between Racist politician X or Y who do you prefer?

  10. in reality, dennis is a centrist, meaning, he is at the center of what the majority of americans want.

    – healthcare for all
    – full employment economy
    – end to the iraq occupation
    – return of our civil liberties/cancel the patriot act
    – protect row vs. wade
    – withdraw from the wto
    – cancel nafta
    – rebuild our infrastructure
    – sign the kyoto treaty
    – bring green technologies to the forefront/reduce global warming

more than 50% of americans support all of those issues, and dennis is the only candidate that is 100% on board with all of them, not just some, but all.

  11. TRM, I’m not following you tonight. First you said that I was supporting Ron Paul on a Kucinich blog post, then saying that he’s the “socialist choice”. I don’t believe Kucinich is a Socialist, although he is a left liberal Democrat.

  12. I am confused as to why Kucinich would be the logical socialist choice…

He is radical, and that I can resepct, because that would mean he understands something is dreadfully wrong in ye ole’ USA and something radical must happen to correct our course………..

    Vote Fred Thompson!
