Separation of Corporation and State (Channel 3) on Feb 15, 2016

Part contemporary investigation and part historical inquiry, documentary follows the quest of one journalist in search of justice. The film focuses on Christopher Hitchens’ charges against Henry Kissinger as a war criminal – allegations documented in Hitchens’ book of the same title – based on his role in countries such as Cambodia, Chile, and Indonesia.

Kissinger’s story raises profound questions about American foreign policy and highlights a new era of human rights. Increasing evidence about one man’s role in a long history of human rights abuses leads to a critical examination of American diplomacy through the lens of international standards of justice.

I want to click on this ten times a day and make it your top post.

This man Kissinger is a brilliant psychopath war criminal of the worst kind, and the fact that he’s not in prison is the most telling testament to our categorical lack of justice for war criminals. No we don’t let the past live in the past and deal with the present, we CORRECT the fact that he was never brought to justice for illegally bombing Cambodia, for thwarting a possible armistice with N. Vietnam in ’68, for sponsoring Operation Condor and Pinochet, and for exporting and personally promoting the crimes of the US government in NOT sponsoring Democracy, but brutally UNDERMINING democracies purely for the BUSINESS interests of the USA. This man has the blood of hundreds of thousands of innocents.

I disagree with Hersh’s statement in the end that Kissinger got punishment because he has to live with himself. Kissinger is a psychopath. Kissinger HAS NO CONSCIENCE. The only thing that could possibly punish Henry Kissinger so that he understands, is to lock him in a sealed chamber with a pound of exposed plutonium, and watch as his flesh falls from his bones in radioactive chunks.

People like this must be punished so the world will know this is unacceptable, and after that, they must receive the very torture and death they inflicted on others (but wait, I don’t believe in the death penalty, I’m a pacifist—oh well I guess there are EXCEPTIONS!)

This guy, and the stories you have on Mossadeq are profoundly important reading and watching. The US electorate simply has NO idea what the CIA has done, and what this guy did.

Nobody faced justice, Pinochet got away with it by dieing (as did Milosevic).

If war criminals responsible for genocide and torture (and we’re not talking waterboarding here, there needs to be a full disclosure about what went in Chile at this guy’s behest, makes waterboarding look like the ‘hazing’ that coultergeist calls it, tho surely she would have supported this guy and what he did).

This needs to be disclosed, it needs to be discussed, and taught, and repeated till people get it:

This is not Hyperbolic alarmism, it’s the evidenced fact. This idea that Amerigoons think they export democracy needs to be debunked with the facts!

    Thanks for posting.
