The Al Jazeera cameraman describes how he was treated during the seven years he was detained at the US detention center in Cuba.

Sami al-Hajj released from Guantanamo

Sami al-Hajj, the Al Jazeera cameraman who was held by the US in its controversial Guantanamo prison, has been freed.

Al-Hajj, who had been on hunger strike for months in protest of his treatment in Guantanamo, was flown to Khartoum and taken immediately to hosptial.

Later he was reunited with his family.
