  3. Hard to imagine, but put nothing past these spooky neocons…

Nevertheless, the people here did nothing to stop Botch despite all, perhaps what they truly crave is a nice, comfortable military dictatorship– after all we fostered and sustained them across the globe, dictatorships are part & parcel of our national style.

Once a military coup happens, however, it’s there to stay. And almost never do the culprits see justice.

I like U? Authority’s idea about trading in semi-precious stones, I have some righteous amethysts and moonstones, I’d be rich!

But in all seriousness, the people of the USA LOVE their military and they believe anything they are told as long as it pertains to fear/greed, god and guns. I see no reason why they would resist this scenario. Poor Naomi is so worried about them, so patriotic. She clearly truly cares. If only the people cared so much…

But if there’s one thing the past 7 years proved, it’s that the people here will accept and support anything regardless of atrocity, if it would convince them that they might preserve their ill-gotten gains.

Military dictatorships are no joke. Think only of Estadio Chile under Pinochet, Guernica under Franco (with the help of the Luftwaffen), it happens in the west all the time, you don’t have to be in some basket-case failed colonial state living under Idi Amin. And in the end these dictators seem to never see justice.

Somehow people are duped en-masse into falling for dictatorships, and they really don’t seem to complain too much, those who do are quickly ‘rendered’, the rest apparently grateful for the ‘stability’ for decades.

  13. Everyone,

Stay calm. Email or call your representative and talk to your county DA. Find out what you can do to make sure that Bush hands over the government to Obama when he wins.

    Best regards,

  19. I think that the key point Naomi makes here is that Empire and Freedom are not compatible. As soon as the average American is ready to give up the dream of Empire, this nightmare can be over.
