Independent journalist Allan Nairn and American Conservative correspondent Kelley Beaucar Vlahos discuss a little-addressed facet of the 2008 campaign: many of the top advisers to leading presidential candidates are ex-U.S. officials involved in atrocities around the world. 12. I agree with you, Tat. Please pass the link to your friends and family. Got to get the word out.

And yes, PTTV, we cannot support these candidates. Vote Kucinich (if you are a left leaning Democrat) or Paul (if you are a conservative Republican or Libertarian).

  13. That amazing program shows three things:

1: Amy Goodman gets a Pulitzer.

2: Allan Nairn gets a Pulitzer

    3. All those hideous mass-murdering horrible people should have been long hunted down and tried in tribunals.

Zbigniew Brzezinski and Al Haig are alive and well and dispensing advice?? Henry friggin Kissinger is still free roaming the beltway when he should have been locked up in a zoo for war-criminals 40 years ago and used for vivisection experiments??

The fact that this long list of the worlds most hideous individuals this country ever invented is not the roster of defendants in a war-crimes tribunal in the Hague, is proof once again that The People Just Don’t Care!

    This country can’t be trusted.
    This electorate can’t be trusted.
NONE of those candidates can be trusted.

The crimes of this nation remain unrepented and unacknowledged.

It’s time to appeal to the UN and the world community to put each and every one of those hideous, horrible people on trial, and punish them for war-crimes, and work to have the criminal militaristic power of the USA diminished.

Anyone who could support any one of those candidates after hearing this program are complicit in criminal atrocities of the USA.

  14. This is the single most important, yet overlooked aspect of the presidential elections. Zbigniew Brzezinski is the top adviser for Obama? Brzezinski, the founder of the Trilateral Commission, CFR, the author of “The Grand Chessboard, the main man behind the CIA funding, arming, and training of Osama bin Laden… “The Audacity of What!@#$? Henry Kissinger, a proven war criminal, adviser to McCain? Madeline “million dead Iraqi children are worth it” Albright behind Hillary? But, of coarse. Guilliani and the PNAC mafia advisory committee? What the hell are we voting for again? War, War, War, or War??

I wonder if any of these war hawks are advising Kucinich or Paul… I think, not. The choice has never been more clear. This vital info should be spread far and wide!

“If voters were ignorant of their leader’s most important tools, could a nation still claim to be a democracy?”
