Wake Up, Freak Out – then Get a Grip

Dandelion Salad

It’s much, much later than you think.

Tipping point ahead.

This really isn’t about polar bears any more. At this very moment, the fate of civilization itself hangs in the balance.

It turns out that the way we have been calculating the future impacts of climate change up to now has been missing a really important piece of the picture. It seems we are now dangerously close to the tipping point in the world’s climate system; this is the point of no return, after which truly catastrophic changes become inevitable.

  5. The “notion” of global warming in an idea that was intended to manipulate the body politic. We have to understand that all academic disciplines are manipulated and controlled by interests who supply funding to them and to research projects. Outcomes of these projects (including studies on global warming) are almost always designed in advance toward a specific direction. The question becomes do we know what the direction is and do we agree with it?

The claims of global warming are without credibility and are not scientific. I encourage anyone, who has the inclination, study the contrary science before buying into the spoon-fed propaganda dished out to us, Here is an excellent analysis by Professor Bob Carter from Queensland Australia who not only discusses the challenges to the global warming idea, but also discusses the politics of science. There is also discussion of the career genocide taking place among scientists who refuse to parrot the “party” line. Very informative:

        • Don’t get me wrong. I think all of us ought to be responsible in regard to our environment. Yet all this hype is part of an agenda. Just like the false war on terrorism got people ready to accept policies they wouldn’t if they weren’t made afraid, so this policy agenda scares people to accept more unacceptable policies. Public relations and propaganda. This was published in the seventies by the Rockefeller funded Club of Rome:

” In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill…”

” …we need to get some broad based support, to capture the public’s imagination…. So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and make little mention of any doubts….” Stanford Professor Stephen Schneider

This is just a small sample from the elite think tanks that write public policy. Their agendas ought to be questioned.

In fact, there’s science that currently says we may be in danger of a mini ice age, yet laws are being written as we speak around the entire planet curbing people’s freedoms for a warming that may never happen. I personally don’t trust any governments that are paid for by big business, unfortunately there are none left that aren’t. If we are to think rationally, it’s important to recognize that what science there is is not conclusive. Unfortunately, the propagandists aren’t so patient. Publishing a video of a melting glacier is not proof that humans are responsible for it. Glaciers have always melted, and I am sure more glaciers will be created. To paraphrase Kipling:

“Let’s keep our heads when all about us are losing theirs and blaming it on us”

This global warming hype is about controlling people’s minds, and forcing policy through that otherwise wouldn’t have a snowball’s chance. I refer you to Naomi Klein “The Shock Doctrine” to familiarize yourself with the technique.

        • Given the planned global depression we are now in, the warmests fearing loss of funding for their pet projects and politicians who are busy licking their chops over the trillions in revenue they are planning to collect in the form of carbon taxes and other draconian fees have ratcheted up the propaganda.

The most recent chapter concerns statements made by a Professor Chris Field touted as a “leading climate scientist”, but in actuality an evolutionary biologist, who stated “the severity of global warming over the next century will be much worse than previously believed”. He stated “the IPCC had “seriously underestimated the size of the problem”.

This, in turn, was followed up by Al Gore’s chief “scientist” bulldog on global warming, James Hansen, who is now using advertising technique to clothe these inconclusive theories by equating global warming skeptics with “holocaust deniers” and alliterating with such phrases as “coal fired power plants are factories of death” and “trains carrying coal to power plants are death trains”. Don’t be fooled. This is psycholinguistic technique. How much can we trust people who depend on psychological manipulation rather than science to further their arguments?

I am reminded of the fellow who opened a tire shop on the border between Mexico and Texas, then paid little boys five dollars a day to throw nails on the streets as visitors crossed the border. If there is no market for your product, create one!
