US congressman Ron Paul says US military interventions around the world show that American politicians are in pursuit of a “world empire”.
US statesmen from both sides of the aisle “are all interventionists, they all believe in the world empire,” said the outspoken Republican congressman in an interview with Russia Today.
Paul made the remarks when asked about President Barack Obama’s decision to assign 17,000 American troops to Afghanistan contingents.
The Texas congressman called Obama’s decision an “outrage”, saying the US has suffered “the most because we’re paying for our foreign intervention overseas.”

“This is not going as Planned”, truer words have never been spoken, even if out of context.

My message to U:

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants”
Is oft quoted, yet they leave out the punch-line: “It is a natural manure.”
Trees (of liberty or otherwise) are perfectly happy left alone, and rain is plenty fine for ‘water’.
This “blood” is an invention of the gun-fascinated amerigun ultra-right. We need to disband the cult of firearms, do away with ‘patriotism’; the globe is by definition a collective. Borders and ideologies are a figment of the male mind.
What’s ‘going as planned’ is the fact that our earth will one day indeed be a molten glob again, and ‘plans’ will have nothing to do with us.
Let’s celebrate the miracle in peace, and avoid the ideology.
