  7. In all my life, Rep. Dennis Kucinich is the only politician I have ever known who speaks directly to my Soul. He was my 1st choice for President, thankfully – President Obama was my 2nd, (because he won)! Although President Obama doesn’t understand we the ordinary people the way that Rep. Kucinich does, let us not forget what the alternative would have been, eg – McCain/Palin, Oh My God! We’re very lucky to have President Obama, but when it comes to Health Care Reform, we want REAL change, change we can believe in! I have sent an email to President Obama asking him to put another of his former opponents in a very high place, eg, I asked that Rep. Dennis Kucinich be put in charge of Health Care Reform. We want Kucinich! We want Kucinich!

    • Dani, if you approve of war mongering, than Obama is a wonderful president, continuing and escalating the war in Afghanistan and starting a new one in Pakistan. You may want to keep up with what’s going on in these countries due to President Obama’s instructions. Lots of deaths to civilians. In my opinion, those who voted for and support Obama sold out their souls if they were previously Kucinich supporters.

Check out some of the posts here: http://en.wordpress.com/tag/meet-the-new-boss-the-same-as-the-old-boss/

Obama is not for Single Payer Universal Health Care, like Kucinich is. Obama is a Capitalist. That means for-profit health insurance companies are still in business denying care to those who most need it. He would never appoint Kucinich to his administration.

    • Regarding: “He would never appoint Kucinich to his administration.” – never say never. If enough people emailed Obama saying “We Want Kucinich” – who knows, it might just make a difference. That’s all I’m trying to do – make a difference.
Regarding: “those who voted for and support Obama sold out their souls if they were previously Kucinich supporters.” – Please, read my comments more carefully, especially the last sentence: “We Want Kucinich!” If you didn’t vote for Obama, that means you either voted for McCain or you didn’t vote at all which is your right. But I surely thought Kucinich has a better chance of making a difference in Obama’s Administration as opposed to McCain’s and I’m trying to get Kucinich in a high place so – how is that selling my soul? Also, I’m not for war mongering, my motto has always been: Construct not Destruct. But just out of curiosity, how would you handle the terrorists who bomb innocent civilians and want to kill everyone who is not a member of their religion? They actually think it is their religious duty to either convert us or wipe us out. How do you handle people like that? Does anyone want to volunteer to meet and talk with these people, try to change their minds? Our species has been fighting with each other since the days our primal ancestors walked the earth. What if our generation is finally the one to break this ridiculous and insane cycle?

      • Dani,

“If you didn’t vote for Obama, that means you either voted for McCain or you didn’t vote at all which is your right.”

Don’t know too many Socialists that supported and voted for McCain. There were other choices for president to vote for. And that is what I did.

Obama is a war monger. Like I already stated he is escalating the war in Afghanistan and has started a war in Pakistan. US drones are killing civilians! I cannot and will not support a war monger. All the Democrats and Republicans who have voted for legislation for increased war funding are complicit.

Solution: Get rid of poverty. That will take care of most if not all violence. Posts on Socialism: http://en.wordpress.com/tag/socialism-on-dandelion-salad/

Obama is NOT going to appoint Kucinich to anything. Obama is a Capitalist. Look at how he is handling the health care reform. He has no intention of eliminating for-profit health insurance corporations who are in business only to not provide health care to those who most need it.

Here are some recent posts on Single Pay health care: http://en.wordpress.com/tag/single-payer-healthcare-hr-676-s-703/

      • “If you didn’t vote for Obama, that means you either voted for McCain or you didn’t vote at all which is your right.”
NO. NO. NO! That mentality is EXACTLY why this country is run by corporations. I did not vote for McCain because he supported all the Bush War Crimes. I did not vote for Obama because I knew that he would be no different (other than FINALLY getting a non-white old guy in the WHITE house) than Bush.
I voted again for Ralph Nader. Because the corporate media refuses to acknowledge the existance of “third” parties and the two party conspiracy has locked out any access for independent candidates, the unread masses in this country continue to believe that we only have a two-party system – as if it was established by the Constitution. Wake up people! We must get rid of the politician for life ruling elite by supporting outsiders. Remember, we citizens are all outsiders – the corporations have the best access that money can buy.

    • I know! God, I love Kucinich so much! I voted for him in ’08 because I knew he was a better pick than Obaaaaama the shepherd of the American Sheeple!
