I watched this on c-span last night (ie Wiener) and bravo!
My sister is here and I am leaving for Cleveland Clinic next Thursday–wish me good luck!
I have contacted both my Senators and Reps about this, but I had done that before—Rep Turner doesnt even accept calls from my anymore (f-him), but Brown is also refusing Congressional health coverage, until we all get coverage (so does Kucinich and Sanders)
It made me angry that Waxman let them defeat the idea of Congress on teh public “option”, but, we have a chance now…I wish I couldve participated in the rallies on July 30th, but my heart is there….have to be at our crappy charity hospital for another MRI in a few minutes…yuck. Then, I have to struggley to try to get them to release all of my records. What a disaster the system that corporate ‘Merka built is!
But I am very lucky to have family that will take me to CCF—most do not.
