This is all absurd. The US should close its base in Honduras, pay reparations to Honduras and Nicaragua for using Honduras as a launching pad for the Contras, and recede behind its borders. Let the stupid amerigoon bananna-growers or whatever economic interest americons have in honduras fend for themselves, and let the Hondurans deal with their own problems.
