Obama has not dropped the plans for the missile defense shield. He plans to put the same capability on US Naval ships that would be stationed near to Iran. This makes a lot more sense than putting the ABMs in Poland.
Common sense in foreign policy at last. This will save billions and do nthing to stop Iran.
