Who is the person, a male writer, that Chomsky refers to around 40:00 minutes. Once he has begun talking about the attempted, and ultimately successful erasure of Christianity in Latin America.
Mike, I tried to identify the name you were seeking in Chomsky’s lecture…finally gave up as the various phonetic spellings of what I could make out of the name produced nothing.
This morning, though, I found an article by Chomsky on the same topic. Here’s the link–I think the name you are seeking is Hans Kung. And, the article will give you even more to explore!
