Protest Drone Attacks

Here at Cindy Sheehan’s Soapbox, our hearts go out to the people of Haiti who have had to endure so much in their country and who are now devastated by the mind-boggling tragedy of the recent earthquake. There are many organizations that are collecting money and gathering relief supplies, but Cindy Sheehan’s Soapbox supports (monthly, not just currently)

Doctors Without Borders

No matter how badly off we are (or are not), here in the U.S., we have it much better than the people in the poorest nation in our hemisphere. Please be as generous as you can.

Cindy Sheehan’s Soapbox is pleased that the crisis in Haiti is getting so much corporate and other media attention, but the U.S. is creating other humanitarian disasters in the Middle East, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Millions of people have been made refugees from our wars of aggression and particularly now in the IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) Camps in Pakistan. People who have fled the CIA violence and other US supported violence from Pakistan and Aghanistan are literally dying for lack of food, water, and medical supplies.

From an article entitled:

Pakistan: Women’s voices from inside IDP camps

The Majority of the IDPs were of the view that both Americans and Taliban are evil, and have made people’s lives hell by flushing them out of their homes. They said that the majority of the population has migrated from Swat but still some people have stayed in Swat. The army has asked these people to vacate the area as soon as possible otherwise they will be treated as Taliban. The relatives in camps have no information about them as the army has cut off all communication means.

Being fully cognizant of the fact that there is a humanitarian crisis in Haiti, Cindy Sheehan’s Soapbox and Peace of the Action are calling for a protest in front of CIA HQ this Saturday, January 16th from 1-4, more information can be found at the

NO MURDEROUS DRONES tab at:
Cindy Sheehan’s Soapbox

And of course there is a plethora of evidence supporting the fact that the CIA has meddled extensively in Haiti.

After we protest at the CIA, we will be marching to the home of one of the worst men who ever breathed air here in North America: Dick Cheney–we will attempt a citizens arrest on him. His new home is less than a mile from CIA HQ in McLean, Va.

Hope you can join us for this event if you are in the area!
