(to the tune of “People” by Merrill & Styne)
People,
Corporations are people.
They’re the luckiest people in the world.
They’re monsters,
Immortal monsters,
Using sociopathic power
To lobby and devour,
Acting more like androids than people.
Judges who say corporations are people
Are the lousiest people in the world,
With hands out, both open hands out,
Black-robed ghouls with no soul,
Half-humans thinking they’re whole,
Filled with longing and greed
To fulfill the needs of corporations,
Saying they’re people,
Yes, the luckiest people in the world.
Black-robed ghouls with no soul,
Half-humans thinking they’re whole,
Filled with longing and greed
To fulfill the needs of corporations,
Saying they’re people,
Yes, the luckiest people in the world.
