Shield Shock: Romania to host US missiles?

Romania says it’s prepared to host anti-ballistic interceptors as part of a U.S. defense shield in Eastern Europe. The Romanian president Traian Bashescu says the move has been approved by the country’s supreme defense council and the plan has been submitted to parliament, for its backing.

  4. Why I don’t get is the way Russia complains bitterly about the way it is being surrounded by the US/Nato complex, yet it seems to be unwilling to help Iran, which has exactly the same problem. Well, I guess the answer is that Russia sells its gas to the Nato area. The customer is always right…
