Pingback: Journalist Helen Thomas Dies At 92 + Helen Thomas on Her One Question for Obama (2010) | Dandelion Salad
That seems to be today’s problem with journalism…no guts to ask the hard questions, no spine to shed light on so many dark issues, no willingness to take risks. No innitiative.
In all fairness, the information has been out there. There were decades of Pacifica, which begat Amy Goodman, plus Allan Nairn & Seymore Hersh et. al. And now we have… Dandelion Salad!
Thanks, Natureboy!
Like I mentioned in another comment, the journalists are paid by corporations with agendas, so they tone down their questioning. Independent journalists unfortunately don’t get heard by the masses.

“Why aren’t people against war?”
Excellent interview.
Wasn’t that great? So refreshingly honest.
There is an answer to her question: journalists are paid by corporations owned by mega-corporations who benefit from the war machine.
