Parenti speaks about lies, dissent, and how we arrive at the truth of our situation and still retain our sanity. He raises the question whether the Iraq war was not a failure but a success for some parts of the empire – and why.”Lies, War, and Empire” given May 12, 2007 at Antioch University in Seattle.

Thanks for the information Lo. Apparently, I haven’t encountered that problem since, as I cannot recall it and even can’t recall writing the comment. But thanks nonetheless.
Do you have two WP blogs or did have 2 when you wrote the comment?
I was searching for something and saw this post and read your comment and thought I’d respond considering it just happened to me the other day (Saturday, I think).
Glad it hasn’t happened again. But I do think it’s only a logging in/out problem.
Lo, my first response has not yet appeared here; this is to your second comment—no, to the best of my knowledge, I’ve always had only the one WordPress account.
Oh, that is interesting. Hmm? Wonder why you received that error message?
Your first response is above these comments that we’ve replied to.
Thanks so much for posting this–gotta love Dr. Parenti, among my favorite thinkers/writers … and he can be so funny too! Always a treat to listen to him speak, no matter how otherwise depressing the topic!
(Btw, Lo, i guess i’m still having computer problems … i tried to re-post this on my WordPress blog just now–was asked to sign in; tried twice, each time getting a snarky message saying simply “cheatin’ uh?” (wtf??).)
So sorry to hear about the computer problems, is it only with WordPress? Thanks for reposting, too.
I recently received the same error message from WordPress. It was because I was already logged into another WP blog (my test blog). So to resolve it, I logged out of the test blog, then logged into Dandelion Salad.
I didn’t appreciate their calling it “cheatin”.
