  21. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to hear President Eisenhower’s insightful final speech. As an Australian I am perplexed at the disregard Americans have shown to his significant warnings regarding America’s need for a balanced viewpoint as the superpower of the world. As a fellow Australian, Julian Assange with wikileaks is playing a timely role in waking up Americans to what really goes on behind closed doors, the lies, the greed, the wrong reasons for action etc. I have just watched the documentary about Daniel Ellsberg, courageous whistleblower who knew it was his duty to inform the American people of the lies told by 4 presidents to their people regarding the Vietnam war. He too was condemned and vilified by the ignorant who were brainwashed by their leaders. The warning remains unheeded. Will americans take back their power to know? Their attitude to the current situation re soldier Bradley and Wikileaks says no. Kill the messenger, ignore the message. Beware such a split mind. Assange is considered a hero in Australia and we condemn calls by your people in power to kill him. shame on you america and see the Light!
