They’re sent throughout the world, in air, on land, and sea,
To bomb and strafe and kill, restoring liberty!
So support our troops ‘cause they fight to keep us free!
Told to kill al-Qaeda, they bombed Afghani hills,
And leveled Afghan villages to kill the Taliban.
They followed orders to the hilt in Fallujah and Mosul,
And leveled buildings left and right to get Saddam.
Dropping white phosphorous and napalm firebombs,
Firing radioactive depleted uranium shells,
They liberated Afghans and Iraqis from their homes,
And taught them what it’s like to live and die in hell.

They’re sent throughout the world, in air, on land, and sea,
To bomb and strafe and kill, restoring liberty!

The Muslims that they captured were held in outdoor cages
In Guantanamo, Cuba, to bake in blistering sun,
Or in dismal cells in Bagram or tortured in Abu Ghraib,
So U.S. democracy would stay at number one.
We’re so proud of the fighting men and women that we send
To liberate the oil and gas and minerals that we need,
So we can live lives with stuff and luxuries without end.
It’s our rightful U.S. Dream, so don’t dare call it greed!

And when our weary soldiers stumble home from all our wars,
Scarred in body, mind, and soul from what they’ve done,
Waking up screaming at the horrors that they saw,
Or sitting zombie-like, drained of life, and numb,
We expect the meager funding of the V.A. to suffice
To help them cope with these awful aftershocks of war.
As pampered public figures speak of flag and sacrifice,
We hope they never wonder what they suffered for.
