New York, Feb. 26– The first part of a smart, lively and well-grounded training session on the fine points of dealing with the NYPD during an actual or potential arrest situation, held in Tompkins Square during Occupy the Town Square. The Sunday afternoon events included a teach-in by Health Care for the 99% on New York’s acute hospital crisis; info on a bike repair workshop at the 60 Wall Street Atrium and display of a whole range of art and performance pieces made by East Villagers for Occupy Wall Street.
