Genocidal Israel robs young babes of their lives to be

Soul blood-stained Israel proclaims unabashed victory
Aided and abetted by its coalition of the willing
Riotous Israel addictively basks in its infinite folly

Unaccountable Israel acts with obdurate impunity
Aided and abetted by its coalition of the willing
Upon a besieged population, murderous Israel unleashes unspeakable hell

Under homicidal Israel’s deeds many innocent fell

Sanguine Israel scars the sorrowed land with its barbarity

Unyielding Israel commits war crimes and crimes against humanity

Quarrelsome Israel rains down indiscriminate death from the sky

Wild Israel never blinks its plotting fatality watchful eye

Great truth. There never was any time as much in need of such poetry as this, none more poignant, urgent and insistent than the present, an era of the most exquisite highly civilised atrocity. This is poetry that stirs the soul.
As America agonises about its latest domestic abomination, what else can be said?
Dare we suggest a calculus of moral equivalence? Can we now begin to empathise with those who suffered the US drone attack in Yemen on the village of al-Majala, Abyan province when 41 died including 12 women, 5 of them pregnant, and 22 children?

Hello David. Greetings of peace and friendship. Thank you for your most prescient comment. But above all thank you for your honesty, integrity, courage, compassion, empathy and humanity. These most fundamental and sustaining qualities are in grave danger in ‘an era of the most exquisite highly civilised [and clinical] atrocity’. They must be protected and promote to safeguard our very moral core and govern our ethical compass whether in or outside of academia.
