Apparently someone posted a link to a blog post from Dandelion Salad onto their Facebook Wall and one (or more) of their friends marked it as “Spam”.
When that happens anyone who now posts a link to a blog post from Dandelion Salad or shares a link via their friends or the Dandelion Salad Page on Facebook has to put in a security code (captcha).
Also, when any links to Dandelion Salad on Facebook are clicked they are taken to the blog post with a message from Facebook at the top saying to mark it “Spam” or “Not Spam”. Please mark “Not Spam” so this can be resolved.
The best way to keep up with the new posts on Dandelion Salad is to subscribe to the free daily newsletter. Facebook is not reliable.
WordPress.com is now running ads on all video blog posts. There are big, blue ads on every video that don’t go away when you are watching the video. Please do not click the ads (you’re probably not going to anyway) but click the bottom link to take you to the Youtube video and watch there instead of on the blog post. WordPress.com has stated that this is a trial program.
If you would like to complain about this and you are on WordPress.com, here is the Forum topic, ebay-ads-covering-embedded-youtube-videos.
Update April 26, 2012
It’s all resolved now. Thanks to everyone for clicking the “Not Spam” button.
And, great news: WordPress.com has removed the huge banner ads from the videos! Hope it stays that way.
Update April 30, 2013
The big blue banner ads are back on the videos again. This is ridiculous.
