  2. This is great work in progress. In a word ~ enlightening.

Notwithstanding the scandalous hypocrisy of the misogynist Vatican, and the traps laid by those who would use liberation theology as a means of discrediting morally unambiguous minds, what is spoken of here resonates deeply.

For those with an appetite for real knowledge of universal history unstained by prejudicial agendas of illegitimate entitlement, I do not hesitate to remind Dandelion Salad’s readers of Alfred W. Crosby’s important (1986) work: Ecological Imperialism, the Biological Expansion of Europe 900-1900.

It was described by a Guardian review of the day as “Required reading for politicians worldwide.”

I see little pragmatic evidence that this advice was ever heeded, as our “politicians” generally are only little more than self-serving, duly indoctrinated, bought & sold career functionaries ~ not visionary innovators. That would be too much to expect…what? a “liberated” political ecology…!

What kind of a world is this when one of several radical detainees in the Land of the Free, speaks more truth than the Commander-in-Chief of the US “government?”

Obama was recently “humbled” by his visit to Robben Island. He should have stayed there….a while longer.
