The email subscriptions are not working through WordPress.com. It is on the daily and weekly digests, not the individual posts setting for the subscriptions.

It’s been a few weeks and they are trying to fix it.

I’m sorry I didn’t notice until today as I have been so busy posting every day.

Here’s the message from the Forums:

“Weekly and daily digest email subscriptions are currently not working. We are looking into this, and will update this thread as soon as we have more information.

In the meantime, please switch to immediate emails for any missing subscriptions, or check your Reader for posts from those sites.”

My suggestion is to sign up for the free once daily email newsletter from Feedburner. I prefer that newsletter as it shows a list of the new posts at the top if there are several new blog posts for that day, followed by each post with a short description and it only comes out once per day. If you click any of the posts in the list at the top it automatically takes you to the post’s link with the description in the email.

Subscribe to the email newsletter via Feedburner.

Here’s an example from today’s newsletter:

  • Dennis Kucinich: What Happens Next? + Medea Benjamin: There are Alternatives to Helping the People of Syria
  • Chris Hedges: Obama Has Carried Out A More Egregious Assault On Civil Liberties Than Bush But Also Expanded War (#NDAA)
  • Russia Says it’s Compiled 100-Page Report Blaming Syrian Rebels for a Chemical Weapons Attack by Matthew Schofield
  • U.S. War Machine Cranks Up Again by Finian Cunningham
  • Children and Women for Sale In India by Graham Peebles

The digest email newsletters are working again. Just received a digest from all the blogs that I follow, including Dandelion Salad. Each digest had a list of all new posts since the middle-end of August. Keep on scrolling as there are a lot of posts in the digest from Dandelion Salad.

  1. So, I made this new blog post yesterday, however, the readers who do subscribe to the daily digest through WordPress.com don’t even know that there is a new post.

Wonder how many views have been lost over the last few weeks?
