Mike Perlman filmmaker, introduces Chris Hedges.

“Obama signed into law, which he was already doing, the NDAA National Defense Authorization Act, which gives him the power to detain and hold U. S. citizens without due process, hold them in Military facilities and offshore Penal Colonies INDEFINITELY, Obama had to be Sued!! The Southern District court of New York joined by Noam Chomsky, Daniel Ellsberg and others and we Won!!

Obama immediately asked for a temporary injunction, to put the law back into effect until the appeal hearing because they’re probably already using the law.

Which would make them in CONTEMPT of court!!

Bit of a tongue twister!

Judge Katherine Forrest refused the issuance of the temp injunction, but got it in the 2nd circuit.

This past July the 2nd Circuit ruled against us. Papers are being filed to take it to the Supreme court. Making history!

Every form of Resistance is NEVER futile!! It’s moving in the right direction and creating Spark!
