The new economy might look like a better economy if mass destruction ended, called war, the amount of energy lost has never been calculated to my knowledge, although at my home the economy is calculated in home use of energy used, nor is their any serious move from any of the militaristic nations to end war, why as tax payers are we informed constantly on home energy use? and none of the War Lords of the Western syndicate, connect with energy use of violent weapons? and we the taxpayers pay for all this misuse of energy? wakey, wakey!
Excellent point, Don.
Really just think of the amount of oil/fuel the military uses on all of it’s bases throughout the world.
Just in terms of pollution, the U.S. military is the biggest polluter on the planet, so imagine the CO2 it adds to the Climate Emergency.
