  2. The West certainly favours democratic elections…as long as the outcome of the election is to our liking. Remember Hamas? Then we turn nasty.

  3. I relish the opportunity to see the new film. John Pilger’s contributions have been exceptional. It is also encouraging to hear what he had to say about Seymour Hersh and the Turkish Sarin controversy.

We should be perspicuous however, and consider the questions that have been raised over the conclusions that have been drawn.

That said, it is one thing to make legitimate and constructive criticisms, but quite another to flatly refuse to consider the alternative evidence or to ignore the story altogether..

    • My instincts are Seymour Hersh has got it right. The reason the Guardian didn’t run the piece, citing inadequate standards is more likely a precautionary tactic, so as not to over-egg their case with a Pulitzer imminent.

It’s been a great day for US radical journalism, a funeral for the mainstream corporate media, and a capital F, BIG FAIL, for Obama’s pathetic posturing & complicity with war-criminals, his government deception to betray the public trust, & wholesale fraudulent gangster “economics.”

Congress is now bought and sold like any other commodity, and thus rendered impotent; “world” governance by Wall St Madison Av and Hollywood is exposed for what it is ~ a complete sham.

Not only does the emperor have no clothes, he never even had a proper empire to show off his ugly backside to.

An end to tyrannical petty-imperialism! Let’s hear it for the Universal Republic of Genius!!
