As the campaign group 38 degrees knows only too well, since they adopted their name for that very reason, an avalanche is an irresistible force once triggered at that critical angle. Of course, they also experienced the negative exponential consequences when a cybersexism petition was controversially withdrawn.
Be that as it may, Scott Noble’s work is an exemplary mass of critical information achieving profound and irreversible effects. Together with the Empire Files, Days of Revolt and a host of extraordinarily worthy precursors, courageous voices and radical whistle-blowing initiatives, these films set a new precedent for dramatic truth-telling.
This is indeed an unstoppable avalanche, may it gain power, force and momentum.
Thanks to David for suggesting this video series.
I’ve been off-line for about a week Lo due to a Windows upgrade problem…hmmmm, so not able to post much. What an amazing set of wake-up films this is.
And, what a dilemma we face. I guess the choice is really about how to defeat cynicism and advance true nobility. When the world we know is so corrupt, can we even begin to envisage a universal code of ethical governance that can set a moral benchmark for future generations?
I’d like to think it is not a vain conceit. For I’d say the big question, or challenge for the USA is how to “reconstitute” the present constitution, that is currently languishing in shreds.
Maybe it’s time to reconfigure that old white-man’s rule book, and convene a new circle of elders (or “wisers” regardless of age,) who may discover the inspiration, guidance and spiritual intention to devise a biospherically orientated, ecologically validated medicine wheel for the Americas that will authentically change everything.
Without a vision….
You’ve been missed, David. Thought perhaps you were out of town again.
Why would a Windows upgrade bring down your computer? Are you using Windows 10? I don’t recommend using it for privacy reasons, among others.
Thank you Lo. I thought I’d try the “free” upgrade to 10, but it was corrupted due to slow line speed possibly, so I had to get help to reinstall that took several attempts. I don’t trust them either. But then, why trust any corporate entity especially Microsoft & Mr money-bags Gates?
These films are utterly mind-blowing, especially Necrophilous that I need to
revisit in more scrupulous, stop-start listen again and “take notes” detail. Thank you so much for flagging them up. Talk about educational!
Good that you got your computer back working again. I got tired of the “notice” from Windows to upgrade so I uninstalled the update from Microsoft that contained that “notice”. I think I had to change something else, too. They certainly don’t make it easy for us.
So glad you are watching these videos. I’ve watched most of them but it does take a lot of time to get through all of them. Thanks for sending the link to the interview with Scott Noble where I found these videos. Also found Part 2 of the interview (links to both are on the post). For some reason or other I missed this when they first came out. Still all relevant to today, if not more so.
One caveat here: the USA is a plutocracy whose state is run by the capitalist ruling class, and it’s been that way for 228 years! There is no “deep state”, just plain old liberal plutocracy.
Norm, I noticed that you used considerably more than 15 tags/categories for your post. WP allows up to 15 combined total of tags and categories for your posts to show up on their global tags.
That is why I tagged the names of many of the people interviewed in these films directly on the post instead of adding them as tags.
Just wanted you to know what I pilfered from your effort. Thus far I’ve only viewed Drone Nations and I’m half way through Necrophilous. I think I need a break from all of that harsh reality. I need to get some shut eye though I don’t know if I’ll be able to sleep on any of this. It is all beyond insane . . . to think that people have lived through this, that people are still set upon in this fashion . . .
Take care and I’ll do likewise.
Take care, Norm.
Here’s more about the limit of 15 tags and categories per post: https://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/
First, to admit the obvious: I’m a bit slow on the uptake. Fixed it, I think. Now to go back and re-read that page so that the purpose of ‘tags’ sinks in a bit more deeply into this old sclerotic brain of mine. Many thanks.
Now your posts will show up on the Reader for the tags/categories that you use. When I first started on WP, before the Reader the tags/categories were better for getting new readers. Dandelion Salad would receive many, many views via the global tags before they installed the Reader.
You do have to count all tags and all categories and make sure you use 15 or less per post. Once you use 16, your posts are eliminated from the Reader tags page.
On another Reader issue, if you use a photo or picture on your blog posts, they need to be at least 350 px in size or they won’t show up in the Reader. Lots of free to use, Creative Commons photos are available through Flickr.com. You do have to copy their coding into your blog posts in the HTML section and cut the “script” line as it doesn’t work on WP.
