Why not prosecute the NY Times? Chris Hedges on WikiLeaks, Assange

RT America on Jun 22, 2016

This week marks the fifth anniversary of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange taking refuge at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, as he remains wanted in Sweden for questioning on alleged sex crimes. Assange’s fear is that extradition to Sweden could lead to extradition to the US, where he could face prosecution for his work with WikiLeaks. For more on this, Chris Hedges, investigative journalist and host of ‘On Contact’ on RT America, joins Anya Parampil.

  1. An impeccable summary from Prof. Chomsky. Superb historical insight.

Slavoj Žižek is an immensely gifted thinker, whose ingenuity is daunting insofar as he has this remarkable capacity to kindle great philosophical enthusiasm.

These are great minds we should respect and heed. Real truth cannot be occluded or erased. Ethical facts are always stronger than seductive deceptions. It is our choices that determine the success or failure of this project we call life.
