http://democracynow.org – Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter James Grimaldi of The Wall Street Journal, who has covered the Clinton Foundation for years, looks at the relationship between the Clinton Foundation and the State Department during Hillary Clinton’s time as secretary of state, and what it would be if she became president. Newly released State Department emails include exchanges between top members of the Clinton Foundation and Clinton’s top State Department advisers, including Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills. The FBI reportedly wanted to investigate the Clinton Foundation earlier this year, but U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch pushed back.

It would be crazy not to read a manifest breach of trust, potentially implicated here.
Siphoning publicly generated money into private laundry pots obviously works wonders, else it wouldn’t happen ~ whitewash/greenwash tax avoidance, simultaneously benefiting from contracts and handouts, is a destiny devoutly to be wished by those who specialize in that dedicated metier, that is such a highly sought-after sophisticated skill these days.
If it was all bold-faced, such blatant special interest exceptionalism would at least be less dishonest, however disgraceful and contemptible it is to all virtuous souls. Only of course it cannot be openly declared, for fear of infringing the “regulations…” or giving the wrong impression to the gullible, applauding crowd. It would be disingenuous to act otherwise….so what happens, consequentially?
It is the sheer pretense of decency and the masquerade of honorable conduct, that is so excruciatingly vile. Personally, I find Bill Clinton revoltingly smug and recoil in horror from the projected aura of saintly innocence of his sinister Messalina, who reeks of craven ambition.
These vulgar specimens of cynical self-aggrandizement strike me as simply ‘new world’ crooks. Plain and simple. Oh what a wonderful fantasy it must be, to dream of becoming the democratic empress of the American universe…!
Or, am I and countless others simply plain wrong? Are we unjustly accusing the sanctified messengers of humanity’s social deliverance?!
USA corporate-state corruption is endemic. The story stinks to high heaven. All branches of government (& even academia) are sorely compromised. This is a cynical house of twisted cards that needs to be (safely) dismantled, reformed; all the cards carefully checked, reorganized and properly assigned to their original symbolic and pragmatic purpose ~ not just reshuffled & disguised.
Meanwhile, the Clinton sewer appears to churn away deep in the bowels of a terminally sick & ailing establishment. It is an empirical given that the foundation must support the edifice. In this particular instance, the edifice is supported by multiple ‘foundations.’ Presumably, there is an interlocking coherence of sorts, that functions to maintain confidence in the structural integrity of the whole.
Regrettably, cunning retro-architectonics will not work. Nothing short of a complete rebuild from a new (ecological) base & top-down generic cleansing, can solve this. So, let us not forget the arduous efforts of Hercules/Heracles, especially that 5th labor ~ to clear and cleanse those manure-rich Augean Stables.
I commented recently, after signing a petition about the American Geophysical Union accepting Exxon funding: “Corporate money talks, but it has nothing valuable to say…”
This ‘divine right’ of murderous “kings” (to rob their ‘subjects’ & persecute critics) is the most outrageous pretext for unmitigated tyranny ever devised by the wit of (wo-) man.
Hubris, as the Greeks know only too well, is always severely punished by the gods, goddesses.
How come highly ‘educated’ divines don’t know this?
