  2. I’m not so sure about this. Yes, Turkey has long had US nuclear weapons stationed there, with US tactical air stationed there even today.

Turkey is a “nuclear competent” country and with an intense effort might be able to enrich uranium to levels to feed a plutonium breeder reactor in a year or two.

I want to see flows of uranium ores before I believe Turkey has the bomb.

    • Thanks for your input, Bacopa, always appreciated, especially when it comes to nukes.

Are you familiar with Sibel Edmonds’ story? If not, check out some of the links posted “from the archives.” She is very credible.

  3. Hello Lo, good to see you again old friend.. yes, I have been keeping up with things.. from the deep marsh!
I am not a bit surprised about Turkey though, nor was I surprised about the U.S. storing nuclear arms on Turkish soil, what is shocking however is the fact that the warmongers in the Pentagon, think that some terrorists are not going to just come along and set them off!
If accordingingly, by accounts, nuclear bombs are sold on the black market, then for enough money someone, can be found, to set them off.
Hence, why even store them in places such as Turkey.. and likely, the next place we may hear of will be the Philippines!
Time to head back to black water marsh.. B.P. devastation, peace of mind, and two brand new shiny 18 yr. olds for Jill Stein on Nov.8th..
    Peace Mike

    • So good to hear from you, Mike. I do think of you often. Hope you’ve been well. Wonderful that you have two new voters in your family and they are smart to vote for Stein!

      • Of course I have been keeping up, always said I would, yes, two 18 year olds! I am ecstatic! Had them with for Occupy N.O. Occupy Biloxi Occupy Pensacola… They even got to protest a Scott Walker visit to attend a failure of a fund raising dinner… lol, was glorious..
Next, we now have a Green Army to protest the building of another, pipeline carrying tar sand crude across part my beloved swamps… only this time the governor was heavily supported by the Green party and the man leading the charge is an ex Lt. Gen who is of the Atakapa people…Thank You beyond words for what you have done over the years with your fertile little garden, when my head hurts, and my eyes are sore, or nothing makes much sense, I turn to you dear friend and you never disappoint…….. Cheers…

        • Very happy to know you’ve been well, Mike and thank you for the compliment on the Salad. We have to continue to fight for everyone’s children and grandchildren and future children.

  4. Interesting. Abject fear is now a massive commodity ~ seems to me we have only three realistic options….

Either we accept the ‘inevitability’ of the Strangelove gambit, the fascist aspiration to “cleanse” the world with lethally radioactive nuclear fire; or, second ~ we cheer for the US-dominant corporate-owned NATOesque ‘industry’ to profit unto perpetuity from outwitting and out-manoeuvring itself, by incrementally destroying all life on earth in pre-planned PNAC-style methodical stages….or three….my preferred option.

The third way is to convene an ‘Armageddon Conference;’ that establishes the global Rule of International Law & Jurisprudence once and for all, inaugurating the first Accountable Ecozoic Treaty Organization, to ensure, regulate and ‘police’ the biospheric integrity of ‘our’ Planet and declare a Supreme Science Council of Emergent Indigenous Human Beings as “Intergalactic Planetary Stewards of this Earth.”

    Sheer (sci-fi) fantasy?

    Show me the alternatives.
