Take Action!
Battle for the Net
FCC Chair Ajit Pai is about to announce a vote to slash America’s net neutrality rules—meaning companies like Comcast & Verizon will be able to block apps, slow websites, and charge fees to control what you see & do online. Once Pai announces the vote, the situation becomes desperate. But if we flood Congress with phone calls right now, they can stop the vote.

This is the killing of light. There’s light in two senses. There’s religious truth and then there’s simple facts. If you’re evil and you kill all communication that you don’t like, that will include religious truth. Most people don’t care about the former – or the latter. That’s why we’re here.
This killing of communication is certainly going to bury, as in hide from view, facts. A fact is a fact whether or not it is seen, but to have facts serve us – in a positive way – they need to be seen.
The Avalanche of communication killing actions began recently, with Google’s effort to do the kind of evil that brings it full approval from the wild beast of Corporatocracy and its invisible ruler. The avalanche of surveillance has fairly finished its run-out and, as Julian Assange notes, that’s not being reversed. (Julian Assange is a good man and he’s right, relatively speaking. But he lacks faith. This attack on light will end in failure for the attackers, who the Christian Bible calls Gog’s Crowd. [Ezekiel chapters 38 &39]) The wild beast of Corporatocracy leaves nothing to chance. Following the make-work project of killing privacy – by workers in the Devil’s busy workshop and its branches globally, perversely funded by its victims through the tax system – it now turns its attention wholeheartedly to simply silencing voices.
This the world’s wrath, which is to say, its anger and hatred (and the destruction and grief that it engenders), is certainly in high gear right now. The Christian Bible talks about it. Jehovah knew it was coming and he inspired his prophets to give the wrathful, and us, a message. He said that the world’s wrath would come and then be answered by his wrath. The main point is that he’s not totally absent, the way most choose to believe. The main point, in regard to his message, is that he responds. But it would be wrong, I think, to imagine that he responds the way we think. We are imperfect and limited. Projecting ourselves onto God doesn’t work. And God isn’t like the lawless, violent world which calls to him to “Bring it!” We we will learn soon enough what it looks like when God brings it.
