  21. Great to hear from Bob Scheer ~ no fork-tongued nonsense from him.

The deep tendency in the US is to retreat into this garrison mentality of institutionalized paranoia. Perpetual fear-mongering, and strategic tension simply infest everything; except home-grown, localized, grass-roots & indigenous organizations ~ or at least those that resist infiltration.

Everything from Walmart to Burning Man is spun into hypernormalized artificiality. That is the fake way, because you can’t capitalize natural virtues, or appropriate individuated truth & package ‘sanitized’ ecological ethics for profit, successfully ~ as they have to exist on their own terms, in order to thrive and prosper through reciprocal trust.

Reactionary capitalism feeds on lies. Reality has to be free to express itself in unpredictable, surprising & unrestricted ways. That is the true art of living well.

My view is that the clock (of manifest destiny) actually stopped a while back. We are all desperately subsisting on borrowed, imaginal ‘a-historic’ time; unless, or until some grounded sense begins to percolate through this suffocating miasma of corrupt ideas.

Mental pollution is impossible to disguise, it really stinks ~ however cleverly it is ‘branded.’

  22. Even Bill Press on FreeSpeech TV falling in line with Russiagate and the fake story that Assange got hacked information from Russia. Actually WikiLeaks was not “fake” news.

    • Sorry to hear that, Barbara. It’s amazing to me how many journalists have fallen in line with the Russiagate “story”.

And yes, the email leaks are not “fake news”. Assange has been very forthright about speaking on this for well over a year now.
