A suggestion to my good friend Caleb Maupin, essential to the fundamental ideas of communism or Marxists-Leninism is that for effective change to take place leading to socialism, the old ruling class, the capitalist class, must be deposed and dispossessed, and a new ruling class, the working class, must be installed. Without that change, progress toward socialism is not possible. And that is the fundamental flaw in social-democracy and anarchism: neither offers a practical road to the overthrow of the capitalist class and the installation of the working class as the ruling class.
