  7. The zeal with which Assange’s well-being has been savaged, is indicative of the most repulsive state-psychopathy; this is certainly not a contemporary example of Britain’s professional class acting with honour. It is profoundly disreputable. In fact, it is a monumental triumph of totalitarian lawlessness. I am deeply ashamed of my native country and disgusted by its collaboration with these most vicious instruments of reprisal, that the sleazy US guardians of hegemony have concocted. A dark hour indeed; so far from our finest benchmark, as to signal the total failure of the Western establishment. It is a moral catastrophe. I condemn this monstrous travesty of justice wholeheartedly, it is a psychotically cruel farrago worthy of the fascist criminal Pinochet.
