Our hearts go out to all the families who’ve lost a loved one to the pandemic. Because our government was slow in reacting, there’s been a lot of panic as people, not knowing what else to do, cleaned out stores of hand sanitizer.
There is something you can do though, and that’s to prepare your body for it by increasing the strength of your immune system. I’ll show you how in this article.
Although this isn’t as good as a natural immunity, it’s the next best thing. One would get a natural immunity by having been exposed to the virus in the past. Unfortunately this virus has not been diagnosed in humans before this global outbreak.
Probably the quickest thing to help strengthen the immune system is vitamin D3, or natural vitamin D. This time of year in the northern hemisphere people have gone many months without having skin exposed to sunlight, hence low vitamin D levels. This is the reason that people catch the common cold and flu in higher numbers this time of the year, as their immune system is impaired by having low vitamin D.
The immune system needs vitamin D to function well and fight disease. I recommend that you take 2,000 international units of vitamin D3 daily until late spring starts to deliver us adequate sunlight as we are able to expose more skin to absorb it and make our own vitamin D.
There are six things Americans generally fail to do to strengthen their immune systems and I wrote a book about it, The Book of Healing. It is an E-book and you can read it here: The Book of Healing by Jack Balkwill [ed. note: it’s a short, 30-minute read]
Other than having low vitamin D levels, most Americans also are highly stressed, don’t get proper sleep, get failing nutrition, have poor exercise habits, and are dehydrated.
The Book of Healing shows you step by step how to deal with each of these to get your immune system into fighting condition. When operating at top efficiency, your immune system will protect you from cancer, in addition to the common cold and flu.
During this time when we’ve been asked to shut ourselves in, avoiding others with time on our hands, you have an ideal opportunity to learn how to make your body more resistant to disease. A strong immune system can, at the very least, make a virus attack less severe. I wish you good luck on your journey to better health.
