“There are endless ways outer space can be used in wars of the 21st century but let’s focus on some of the more probable ones.”

Ostensibly peaceful uses of space rely on technologies that overlap with the technologies of warfare — e.g., putting a space station into place and launching missiles use some of the same rocket science. I wonder if Kennedy’s lunar landing challenge was partly a coverup for military research. — But even without space technology, we already have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world. Only friendship can make us safe, and I think friendship may require a different economic system.
