John Pilger is one of the world’s most important investigative journalists and film makers. He has won an American TV Academy Award, an Emmy, and a British Academy Award, a BAFTA for his documentaries.

In 2003, he was awarded the prestigious Sophie Prize for ’30 years of exposing injustice and promoting human rights.’ In 2009, he was awarded Australia’s human rights prize, the Sydney Peace Prize.

John has witnessed and covered numerous wars around the world and is a long standing critic of Australian, US and U.K. foreign policies.
