Shadowproof’s Kevin Gosztola is joined by former CIA officer and whistleblower John Kiriakou to discuss the escalating absurdity around former US presidents and vice presidents finding classified documents in their possession.
The National Archives has now asked representatives of every former administration to check for documents and return the records. This apparently happens with some regularity, and it says a lot about how those in positions of power simply believe the rules do not apply to them. It also should begin to unravel the cult of intelligence around the US national secrecy complex.
