Many content creators on YouTube produce collaborative content. Finally, I’m producing my first collaborative piece. For the past 2 weeks I’ve worked with the YouTuber Radical Reviewer (RR) who reviews leftist literature. I find his YouTube channel very important. If you can’t read an entire book, the least we can do is watch a video on the topic. Although reading a book is the best option for learning, watching videos helps save time and money. Also, if the video review is done well it could prompt someone to actually read the book!

Some thoughts on “patriotism” written on July 4
Most important thought: I’m sick and tired of this thing called “patriotism”.
The Japanese pilots who bombed Pearl Harbor were being patriotic. The German people who supported Hitler and his conquests were being patriotic, fighting for the Fatherland. All the Latin American military dictators who overthrew democratically-elected governments and routinely tortured people were being patriotic — saving their beloved country from “communism”.
“We’ve detected activity, and we have captured some U.S. citizens in undercover activities, in hidden activities, espionage, trying to win over people in towns along the Venezuelan coast, trying to win over people in some neighborhoods. In Táchira, we captured a pilot of a U.S. plane of Latin origin with all sorts of documentation.” — Nicolás Maduro, Democracy Now! March 3, 2015
