Ferguson police arrest Cornel West, religious leaders protesting police shootings

Ferguson, MO police on Monday arrested Dr. Cornel West and several religious leaders participating in a march to bring awareness to the widespread nature of police shootings. After a weekend of protests throughout the St. Louis area, the group that included West faced off with riot gear clad law enforcement officers in front of the Ferguson Police Department. Then Chris who is now ordained returns to the pulpit to speak for the first time before the congregation and visitors. The of the Ordination Services for Chris Hedges took place at the Second Presbyterian Church Elizabeth, NJ on October 5, 2014.

Chris has been a political activist and writer in many areas including working towards changing the US issue of mass incarceration and how it treats its prisoners.
