A lesson in politics. The Kucinich Prediction: Here’s what’s going to happen …

1. House will make a big deal about keeping/putting a public option in HR3200 because it competes with insurance companies and will keep insurance rates low.
2. The White House will refer to the President’s speech last week where he spoke favorably of the public option.

As more and more of us ordinary Americans wake up to the smiley-faced nightmare of how the Corporatocracy (Dems & Repubs) has taken over every aspect of our lives, and how powerless we are to significantly improve things, more and more justifiably frustrated, angry citizens will unfortunately resort to impatient, violent attempts to change the way the cards are stacked against us.

Yesterday, I spoke with a few anti-Obamacare demonstrators gathered in front of the building in which my Congressional Representative has his office (it was, of course, closed on Saturday). They were there as part of yesterday’s national “Tea Party Patriots” demonstrations against Obama’s attempt at health INSURANCE reform (which should not be confused with actual health CARE reform, since that would require a single-payer system such as Medicare for All which Obama took off the table long ago). This dialogue, initiated by me, was preparatory to my joining a nearby group of pro-universal health care counter-demonstrators gathered to offset the anti-Obamacare demonstrators.

Government Run Health Care Is Fox News Myth?

Even Fox News recognizes the big gap between the opinions of Republicans and the opinions of Democrats when it comes to President Barack Obama’s attempt to get health care insurance reform, particularly when it comes to the “public option” or, as Fox News calls it, “government run aspect,” but Fox News may actually have significant responsibility for this Republican opinion gap as I show in this video.

The health care debacle has gone exactly the way I pictured it would. It seems that every day that passes brings with it a new concession to the insurance companies, the pharmaceutical industry and the health providers. It probably would have been a less painful experience if the government just would have asked these interests to build a health care plan with no governmental interference. There is no doubt in my mind that we would have gotten essentially the same plan.

President Obama claims that “pressure” has forced him to reconsider the “public option”. I’d like to know exactly what pressures have made him rethink that strategy. Obviously the pressure must be coming from inside the Democratic Party because Republicans have no power. I wish he would let us in on exactly who is exerting this pressure. Maybe it is time Americans found out the truth about the Democrats and the Republicans. Let them see that they work to protect and enhance corporate power.

The masquerade is over! The “public option” is … dead.

Health care reform is now a private option: WHICH FOR PROFIT INSURANCE COMPANY DO YOU WANT? You have to choose. And you have to pay. If you have a low income, under HR3200 government will subsidize the private insurance companies and you will still have to pay premiums, co-pays and deductibles.

The Administration plan requires that everyone must have health insurance, so it is delivering tens of millions of new “customers” to the insurance companies. Health care? Not really. Insurance care! Absolutely. Cost controls? No chance.
