On March 13, 2015 wordpress.com eliminated the “use the classic editor” link on new posts and on editing older posts. Many bloggers have no idea how to find the classic editor, so that’s why I’m doing this post.

Happy New Year!
I recently changed themes on WordPress so mobile and tablet users can read the blog posts more easily. The previous theme was “retired” by WordPress so it needed to be changed to a newer one anyway.

Before I start complaining about this new feature, I’d like to say that it is a good idea. It’s what I do for almost every blog post: put links to previous posts that are related to the current one. However, I select which previous posts to list at the end of the blog posts.

I’m so sorry that many of you have received too many emails from Dandelion Salad.
I have had to edit over 200 older posts in the last few days. First I had to make them “privately” published, then had to edit them and republish them.

Apparently someone posted a link to a blog post from Dandelion Salad onto their Facebook Wall and one (or more) of their friends marked it as “Spam”.
When that happens anyone who now posts a link to a blog post from Dandelion Salad or shares a link via their friends or the Dandelion Salad Page on Facebook has to put in a security code (captcha).
