  1. basically what you seem to be saying is that much of the criticism of Israel comes from either israel itself (morris, maoz, sarid, aloni, ben-ami etc) which at least shows its strong srelf-critical and thefore truly liberal character. at the same time you say that american jews are driven by fear of the charge of dual loyalty before 1967, pride in dual loyalty after 1967 when americans in general admired Israel and once again fear of dual loyalty in the wake of unpopularity of iraq war. this says much about american jewish spinelessness, but not much about their liberal character unless the two are the same.

  2. I would like to know why there is no volume control on this lecture. It can only be heard at a volume which is too unconfortable for my ears. Is this intentional?

    • I’m sorry you’ll have to turn your volume down on your computer if it’s too loud. It most certainly is not intentional as the video is on Google. Dandelion Salad has no control over the volume on videos posted.
