Once again, the powerful and diabolical Military Industrial Complex , through its Pentagon and congressional lackeys, is on the verge of another con job. This time it’s the left of center Americans and the congressional Democrats who are being used for the long haul agenda. What am I referring to? They call it The Dream Act , and it is supposed to help the children of the undocumented (I refuse to call them Illegal Aliens) fast track to US citizenship. Sounds like a decent and progressive idea, right? Well, look again at this Dream Act. The wording of it states that children of the undocumented can become US citizens by either A) finishing 2 years of college or B) serving in the military.

Let’s see: the overwhelming majority of children of the undocumented most likely are not well off financially. On the contrary, most of them are low income or no income. The con job being perpetrated is two fold. The first part of the scheme is to have the tuition for public colleges raised to never before seen levels. You can forget about private universities…. Their rates have always been sky high. However, the second part of the scheme is brilliant: The army pays anywhere from a few thousand dollars to upwards of $40,000 for new recruits! What do you think most low income undocumented kids are going to choose as a means to fast track to citizenship? Look at the young soldiers we now have serving (and dying or being wounded for life) in Iraq and Afghanistan. Poll them as to why they chose to sign up rather than go to college. As the line goes: Follow Da Money!

Shame on the Democrats in Congress and their progressive supporters nationwide, especially the shows on Free Speech and Link TV As to those undocumented kids who are demonstrating so vigorously for this Nightmare Act: Get wise! They want your bodies on the ground in whatever war zone the empire chooses to send you to! Remember the Civil War, when the Union army recruiters grabbed the Irish immigrant men right off the boat? Let the children of the privileged patrol the occupied lands and die for the empire… And see how quickly the conflicts will end.

  1. thanks rocket. and the Democrats are the lead instigators into this terrible act.
when will the good folks realize that the 2 party system, as is, is a scam perpetrated by the super rich… who own it all?

    • Nader says that the the 2 fold problem is this:
      1.hereditary voting
      2. electoral reform
the party system has to be broken .

  2. MY KIND OF ARTICLE PHILLIP ! bravo ! very few people bring up the Irish resistence under Lincoln . an apt analogy .
