This is a non-commercial attempt from http://www.sanctuaryasia.com/ to highlight the fact that world leaders, irresponsible corporates and mindless ‘consumers’ are combining to destroy life on earth. It is dedicated to all who died fighting for the planet and those whose lives are on the line today. The cut was put together by Vivek Chauhan, a young film maker, together with naturalists working with the Sanctuary Asia network (http://www.sanctuaryasia.com/).
Content credit: The principal source for the footage was Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s incredible film HOME http://www.homethemovie.org/. The music was by Armand Amar. Thank you too Greenpeace and http://timescapes.org/

I’ve been more or less off-line for a month ~ scarcely able to engage with anything web-based lately, and have missed the DS postings through the election, only able to listen to BBC radio (& our bebe is not in the greatest shape at present despite the general excellence of its content.) So this is just a great re-entry point for me ~ entirely appropriate as today is 11/11 “armistice day” here in the UK. The sad horror is we’re expected to cheer for totally unjust, illegal & plain stupid “wars,” without even a murmur of misgiving. So I’m more than ready to honour these radical non-conformists, our true heroes and heroines in the great battle for Nature, Truth and Self-determination Thank you Lo!
Great to see you back, David. You’ve been missed.
It’s Veterans Day here today. Unfortunately we don’t have a holiday to celebrate the end of war.
Here is a list of posts from all of October:

Deeply appreciated Lo. I need to follow up on an exchange with Rocket that I had to cut short, so shall be catching up over the next few days. Many thanks for your kind acknowledgement.
I was wondering what happened to you, David. So glad to hear from you again. 🙂
